Job Description: Ennis Continuing Education Director

The Ennis Continuing Education Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the Ennis Continuing Education (ECE) program. This role involves managing administrative tasks, recruiting, and retaining instructors, and promoting educational opportunities within the community. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has a passion for education and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage Excel spreadsheets for tracking program details, budgets, and scheduling.

Communicate effectively with instructors, students, and community members via email, phone, and in-person conversations.

Recruit and retain qualified ECE instructors to ensure a diverse and robust course offering.

Coordinate marketing efforts, including creating promotional materials and leveraging social media platforms to advertise classes.

Assist with basic graphic design tasks to enhance program branding and outreach materials.

Maintain and update the ECE page on the school’s website, ensuring accurate and current program information.

Utilize computer skills to manage administrative duties.

Collaborate with other community businesses and organizations to identify educational needs and develop relevant educational programs.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and managing instructors.

Basic graphic design and marketing skills are helpful.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

A commitment to promoting lifelong learning and community engagement.

Position Details:

• Approximately 40 hours/week July-May with the Month of June off.

• Starting wage is $22.80/hour, negotiable, depending on experience (DOE).

• Offers up to $740/month for health insurance.

• Additional benefits include:

Position Title: Two Junior High Wrestling Coaches

Ennis Schools is seeking dedicated and passionate Junior High Wrestling Coaches to join our athletic program for the upcoming season. This is an exciting opportunity to positively impact young athletes while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Colt Club and Friday Program Coordinator

Ennis Elementary School is seeking applicants for a Colt Club and Friday Program Coordinator for the 2024-2025 of this school year. This position is approximately 8 hours per week the fall semester and 16 hours per week for the spring semester. The coordinator position is responsible for organizing the elementary Colt Club afterschool program as well as the Friday program that runs the 2nd semester. Hourly wage is $20-25 per hour. This position may also potentially be combined with other positions in the district.
